Set up Aqurate Personalize in MerchantPro

The following types of recommendations are available natively for MerchantPro:

Personal recommendations work with the following identifiers:

✅ Website visitors

❌ Logged in users

Step 1 - Enabling Aqurate Personalize for your Home and Product Detail Page

Go to MerchantPro account Settings > Website > Design & Theme

Click on Design & Theme

Click on Customize to enter Designer Studio

Click on Customize

Select the Product details page or the Home page

Click on Product details

Add one or more Recommended products tab

Click on Recommended products

We recommend two tabs of Recommended products on the product detail page, both substitutes and cross-sell products can be powerful when used together.

Configure each tab with the title of the tab and the type of recommendations

Select "aqurate:substitutes"

You can drag the tabs higher or lower on the page

Drag highlighted button

Placing a Recommended products tab as high as possible on the page can lead to higher click through rate.

Step 2 - Enabling Aqurate Personalize for your Checkout Page

Go to MerchantPro account Settings

Click on Settings

Click on Checkout

Click on Checkout

Scroll to Cart settings and in the Displays recommended products in the cart select "Cross sell via Aqurate"

Click on Save on the bottom of the page

Click on Save on the bottom of the page

You're Done!

Now the Aqurate Personalize recommendations will be placed on the pages you have configured.
