Build templates for Personalized Emails in ActiveCampaign

1. Click on Campaigns

2. Click on Campaign Templates

3. Click on Create a Template

4. Keep the Email Designer option selected, and click on Continue

5. Click on Start From Scratch

6. Give your template a name and click on Save

7. Drag the HTML block wherever you want to add the product recommendations

8. Click on Email…

9. Configure the look and feel of the product recommendations to match your brand

10. When you're done, click on Get module

You can also choose to Save this configuration for later reference.

11. Click on Copy

↙️ Back to ActiveCampaign

12. Click on the HTML text and then inside the HTML editor

13. Paste the code you copied in step 11

14. You should now see an array of empty recommendations

Don't worry, that is normal. The empty slots will be filled out with the personal recommendations for each recipient.

15. Design the rest of the email to match the look and feel you want

16. Click on Save and exit

You are done! 🚀  

You can now send your first campaign or set up your first automation including truly personal recommended products.
