Personalized Emails with Brevo Automations

  • An active Personalize subscription
  • An active Brevo subscription
  • An active integration between Aqurate and Brevo (enable it here)
  • An active integration between your shop and Brevo, including data about purchases

Why use automated emails

Automations in Brevo help you streamline your communications and make sure your contacts get the right emails at the right time. You can build from scratch an automated flow, select the trigger that will start the journey, and include personalized product recommendations at user level in each email. 

In this article, we'll guide you through the creation of a post-purchase automated email in Brevo.

1. On the Templates page, click on Create Templatebrevo_automation_1

2. Choose Email template


3. Name your template, give it a Subject Line and click on Next Step


4. When designing the email, click on Code your own and choose Paste your Code


5. Paste the HTML code you have copied from Aqurate > Email and hit Continue

6. Click on Save & Activate brevo_automation_6v2


7. On the Automations page, click on Create your first automation


8. From the Most popular, choose Product purchase


9. Click on Use this automation


10. Make sure that Custom Event is selected and hit NEXT


11. Add a delay and click on NEXT


12. Choose the template created in the steps 1 to 6 and add a condition for the property "AQ_REC_LAS" (last update received from the Aqurate integration) to exist


13. Click on Activate automation


You are done! đŸš€  

Now you'll send automated email to your contacts based on your chosen starting point.

Please note that if you use the Placed Order starting point, customers will not be retroactively enrolled in the automation. In other words, only contacts who did not make a purchase x days after the automation is live will be enrolled.

The links of the personalized product recommendations include Source and Medium to be tracked in Google Analytics.
